I am Lee Sinesby, a passionate painter specializing in watercolor, acrylic, and oil paintings. Ever since I was a child, I’ve felt most at home with a pencil or paintbrush in hand. Drawing and painting have always been my way of understanding the world — a language I learned before words. I was that child who would fill the margins of notebooks with sketches, lose track of time while creating imaginary worlds, and see stories in shadows, skies, and people’s faces.

I graduated from an art-focused high school, where I built a strong foundation in visual arts. But the truth is, I’m mostly self-taught — guided by curiosity, intuition, and a lifelong passion for creating. My artistic journey has been shaped more by the smell of paint in my studio, the magic of late-night creative bursts, and countless hours spent experimenting than by any classroom.

I’ve always had a vivid, untamed imagination — a kind of inner landscape that overflows with colors, movement, and emotions. I’m fascinated by fleeting moments, hidden emotions, and the unspoken stories people carry. These are the things I try to capture in my work. Each painting begins as a feeling, a fragment of a dream, or a scene that suddenly appears in my mind like a photograph lit from within.

My inspirations come from many places — music, nature, human expression, mythology, memories, and even silence. I don’t limit myself to one subject or style. I follow whatever moves me and try to translate it into something visual and alive.

Over the years, my paintings have found homes with collectors around the world. It's a humbling and beautiful thing to know that something created in the quiet of my studio can speak to someone across the globe.

Creating art is not just my passion — it’s my way of being. I pour pieces of myself into every canvas, hoping that when someone looks at one of my paintings, they’ll feel not only what I felt but something entirely their own.
